News Category posting at Static page….

    Hi,
    i am new at wordpress, i need a customized and simple news presentation by wordpress. I need – 3 fixed category posting at home page, like Sports, Business, Entertainment; also is that possible to show the latest news of each category and show more 3 news title beside it?
    i need help, pls support me.
