Got a FAQ for upgrading from 3.0.5 ? ? ?

    Would like to upgrade, but I am REALLY worried about breaking something on the current site… any backup/recovery experiences/tips?

    Backup everything, files and database. Don’t use the automatic updater. Do it manually. Follow all of the instructions, including disabling plugins.

    Going from 3.05 to 3.4.1 is a pretty big jump. You might want to update incrementally. You can get the old releases from the release archive.

    Thanx. Sounds like some serious weekend work…

    Little wonder I have had little incentive to upgrade when the current version works!

    But I’ll have to sooner or later especially if I want to pluging the Video product.

    I’d suggest you to upgrade it incrementally and also check the database version.
