re-use cookies on subdomain

    I want to re-use my WordPress cookies on a subdomain, but i don’t know how.
    And I am not quite sure how the cookies are set in WP but
    if there is a cookie with some kind of id other than the username it would be better.

    I had tried to read one
    cookie $_COOKIE['wp-postpass_' . COOKIEHASH];
    in WP with succes but couldn’t do it on the subdomain.

    The COOKIEHASH is the same on the domain and subdomain

    I have been looking in WP-codes and googling for 1-2 weeks now and haven’t found a solution

    Any help would be great. Thanks.

    is it deficult to understand what i wan’t?

    i wish that a user from my WP-page to be logged in on my gallery witch stands in a subdomæne. And i think it is some of the cookies i should use og re-use.
    wherefore i think i have to alter the cookie-path and cookie-domain but don’t know how and where?!

    sorry my english isn’t the best!
