Make folders writable for WordPress

    Directory wp-content/gallery/ is not writeable !
    Check this link, if you didn’t know how to set the permission : http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

    I’m installing WordPress and I’ve been doing it all manually cause of above error. Now I have a situation where I can’t install manually.
    So I have to face this problem.

    I don’t want to make the site writable for public, just me and logged on admins. Which CHMOD should I choose?
