   Hi there -- I just recently switched servers over to hostgator, and began to experience some new problems
   http://70.85.143.122/~admin/wordpress/

   When I click "next postings" on http://70.85.143.122/~admin/wordpress/pages/2/
   none of the images show up, but they show up on every other page. I already checked the the_excerpt issue on page.php, but it's already changed to the_content

   The page.php has nothing to do with your paged index - that is still displayed by the index.php.
   You don't have images even on the main index.

   And your second link is incorrect: ther shouldn't be a plural S for /pages/2 --> correct: /page/2
