[Plugin: Simple Events Calendar] Allow more text in event description

Thanks for a great plugin!

However – I would like to allow more text in event description and have managed to change from 250 to 700 in the box, but still the text is cropped when saving.

Is there a way to resolve this so that I can display 700 signs in the description?
