Try to add a css cheat in your page live stream (directly with your Editor) where the shortcode is.
Something like (with html editor only) <div style=”display:block !important”>[LivesOnline]</div>
If this css cheating don’t work you may move the shortcode anywhere you want and eventually you may also select a page template from your theme.
Orherwise I thing the problem maybe comes from the older files generates by the cache system. Clean your cache folder in the plugin (and after choose a cache time). And go on your live stream page to re-generate the cache file.
But your theme is particular (buddyPress ?), some adaptative works is maybe necessary. Your are the 2nd to try the plugin with buddypress activated and the 2 times the plugins isn’t compatible.
Hi. I have this problem too, but i have 2 times.
http://summonersrift.ru/livestream/
i whrite <div style=”display: block !important;”>[livestream type=”own3d” channel=”34046″]</div> at HTML editor. Nothing.
I dont have buddypress plugin, because i use nginx.
Well thanks Kwark.
This gives me already a hint ^^
I tried to deactivate BuddyPress then – but it still didnt work.
However: I don’t even know in which CSS to look ^^ or where it is stored.
Could you help me out there ?
I’m just such a noob
This plugin break my slides at theme… i turn off its :C
Now I even uninstalled buddypress and all traces of it but it just wont work 🙁 I will uninstall and reistall your plugin aswell. hope it will work somehow…magically ^^
Comment: Nope didnt work ^^
manually shortcode to put only one live stream in a page/a post
example on 3.4.1: http://livetv.allwebtuts.net/test-one-channel/
code in use:
[livestream type="own3d" channel="34046"]
[liveTVChat type="quakenet" width="650" height="300" channel="nameofyourchoice"]
tutorial: how to manual shortcode
Rule: Don’t put this kind of code with the other shortcode for the loop of thumbnails [LivesOnline].
For a page with the loop of thumbnails list (as different of a single shortcode usage, it’s a 2nd usage separated of single shortcode usage)
it’s only: [LivesOnline] without parameters and for this list you may add your live streams only from your default wp profil.
After I don’t know what happens from the plugin with buddypress activated but I think ensure that make the plugin compatible for BuddyPress is a task too heavy for me until I do not know more of the code of BuddyPress. It’s preferable to ask a Buddypress expert.
For CSS of the page live stream with loop of thumbnails
The 2 css loading on that page it’s only page-livestream.css and page-livestream-hook.css. page-livestream-hook.css is only loaded when a user request a “large view”. This css is a css cheating to make your theme more large but with some theme, css changes is necessary: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/livetv-bundle/faq/
If your theme is very exotic, it’s necessary to changes seriously this css cheating.
For the Break of your slides
I think the plugin use one of the same JQuery extension library of your theme. Some adaptative works is necessary to stop the load of one.
hope it will work somehow…magically
Indeed, I am not a magician… I can not put my hands in your code and debug it for you magically without your files and I can not guess which library one theme use, or what theme will be activated on each site. All site requires a phase debug. css knowledge is a good knowledge to start your personal site. Otherwise you have to call a developer friend.
i have find problem with JS.
