  • Hello Ivan,

This is a great plugin that worked for WP 3.4.1 immediately in a Custom Theme.

My question is : Why are there “xx queries to database” while also “xx cached queried”?

In my tests I get varying footer reports in the source code when I visit a page using different browsers and when I repeat the page a minute later.

If there are, as in this actual example, “23 queries to database” the first time why don’t those 23 queries get added to the “27 cached queries” so that the next time the same page will show “50 cached queries”?

Why are “queries to database” not the same as “cached queries (also to the database)”?

I know that my theme has its own queries, too. Is this what is meant by “xx queries to database”? I thought DB Cache took note of ALL queries needed for a page.

    Thank you!
