Endless loop after creating new page

    I have a fully working wp site. However, since recently something is messed up. I created a new page and after pressing save the page went blank. Nothing seemed to happen. After a few minutes I went to wp-admin and all seemed fine. Untill I tried to go to – manage – pages. There an endless loop was created with my new page:
    old page
    – new page
    — old page
    —new page
    etc etc.

    Also the site on the front end was messed up.

    Looking at the db table, the new page is there. Only thing I could see is that the parent id is not correct, and a postid is missing at all.

    After manually removing the entry in the posts table everything seemed ok again. However, each time I try to create a new page, the same thing happens.

    Anyone familiar with this problem?
