   Can someone please tell me how to delete the header and side menu so all i have is the new items on the page.

   What theme are you using, because it kind of depends on that. The sidebar is pretty easy to ger rid of though, just remove <?php get_sidebar(); ?> from your index.php.

   But again, it depends on your theme. Perhaps you should think of downloading a theme that suits your needs?
