[Plugin: Events] Date format

Hey,

Is there anyway that i could have it so that the date reads like this:
7 – 11 September 2012

when you have this inserted in the template:
%startdate% – %enddate%

Rather than how it looks now:
7 September 2012 – 11 September 2012
