• Hi,
I want to put a forum on one of my pages. I know Mingle does it, but with that one, I couldn’t figure out how to let users post new forums, so I was thinking of using bbPress. I know bbpress shows up on the side bar, but i wanted the forum on it’s own page, as in, i wanted it to go there when someone clicks on “forum” next to “home.” Does anyone know how to set up bbPress on its own page and remove it from the sidebar?

Also, what does it mean when someone subscribes to the site (as in, when they log in by creating an account w/ the forum)? — Does that mean they’ll get an e-mail from me everytime I post? I hope not, because if I’m posting three times a day, that would get annoying for visitors to get that many e-mails from me.

With Mingle, when I tested the forum and made an account, it took me to a login with WordPress, but they could only change their profiles, i think…is this what usually happens? I was getting scared that they’d be able to make real changes to the site since they’re accessing through wordpress login.

    Thanks.
