After styling these lists with css to do a custom bullet, my client wanted individual icons becide each page to reflect the category. (they are using WP as a CMS.)

Anyway – the easiest way to do it turned out to be adding <img src=" ">
prior to the title of each page.

I’ve no idea if that’s an original solution or not, but it turned out to be the most effective and easiest way to get the job done!
