• Hi there

I need to know how to change the contact email in one go(if its possible). We are dealing with over 400 domains and I have to change the contact email on them. Please let me know if it’s a way to do this.

    Kind regards,

    Chris

  • Are you using any kind of specific plugin for this? How is the contact email stored?

    Please be more specific.

    Sorry

What I’m saying is we have one specific email address for all the blogs. I need to change that so I need to know if I can do that in one go for all of our blogs or I have to log into each of the blogs to do that.

    Cheers,

    Chris

You will have to do it manually… the blogs have different databases with different passwords, going manually is the only/fastest way I see this going.Another way I see it is to create a custom php script that will connect to your databases and change the info in the database for you but setting up a php script to connect to 400 databases will take more time then connecting manually to each backend and setting up the contact detail manually also you’ll have to worry about page time-out and things like tihis…
From my point of view only one way: manually.

We don’t have any specific plugin. As we set up the blogs we put the email address in individually. My problem is we have to change thme now onto an other address and to be honest i don’t want to do them one by one because it will take forever.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Thank you for the fast reply “jnhghy”.
I was hoping for an other solution. 🙂
