WP 2.04 Widget folder

    I just upgraded to WP 2.04 and am want to try out widgets. I was about to install a Subscribe2 widget but it says there should be a Widget folder in the Plugin folder. I do not have a folder. Should the upgrade program have made a directory. Do this mean something is wrong? My blog is otherwise working well.
