How to upload everything to a local server? | WordPress.org

I have installed Apache,PHP5, MySQL and phpMyAdmin that are going smoothly but I don’t know where and how to upload everything(after editing and saving wp-config.php). Please advise and thank you for your time here.

well, upload is a bit of a funny term to use, since you are installing it on a local machine. What is the root html directory of your apache installation? That’s where you folder of wordpress files.

Or maybe it’s not a local machine. I’m not clear on that from what you’ve said.

I followed up on the Xampp but cannot load “http://localhost/xampp/splash.php” and the message said 404 not found.
