Im having this same issue.
Every thing is ok, I have:
key all set up
all is approved
everything is reconised
after inserting link the error states
My WordPress Version is 3.4.2
My plugin version is 3.3.3
URL is http://believerinsight.com/
PHP server version is 5.3.10
Hey…it is not he key you get when registrering – but a level further into Flickr you get another key code…I dont recall exact path to finding it…but if you poke around a bit in Flickr you get to some other setting and that is where the key needed is informed…Good Luck – once you have those numbers it works so smoothly

For anyone dealing with this.. Here is the solution for many… This error occurs usually when the USER ID is not valid. It can be difficult to find the user id and even more troubling when you mistake that for username. Here is an easy way to find out your flickr id…go to: http://idgettr.com/ and type in the url to your main photostream. There are other id getter generators online as well in case that one is ever removed. Just google it.
