• I have built a site using wordpress 3.4.1 and want to remove from the right sidebar the Meta login stuff from public view. But, of course, do NOT want to find myself shut out of my own site because there is now no login place. What can I do? People visiting the site are confused because one of the later post pages is password protected and they when they see the LOGIN, they try to use that. Of course, they get frustrated and annoyed because that META login is only for me and the other administrator. HELP!!!

  • You can remove it by going to your widget screen and deleting it. If you want to login, then go to domain.com/wp-admin/ and login.

Eric, the log-in is there by default as part of the original theme, not a widget. What then?
