Thanks for using nRelate! You can exclude specific posts from being indexed by our plugin and shown as related results by utilizing our “exclude categories feature”.

You can exclude certain categories by going to the nRelate Dashboard page when logged into WordPress – here’s a screenshot for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rwh8cc91mftd6ze/Screen%20Shot%202012-07-16%20at%204.07.06%20PM.png

Any posts associated with the excluded categories will no longer show up as a related suggestion.

    Hey katerina

Thank you for your answer! I know that I can exclude categories and posts, but how can I exclude specific pages?

My URL is http://www.steinbeis-hochschule.ch/wp … If you see on the page “Kontakt”, there the nrelate-plugin shoud not be! I also want it just in the “widget” but, this is not possible, if I don’t have marked “is_page” in nrelate-Plugin.

Can you help me with this issue?

    Thank you!

    Love

I have a similar problem, but not with pages, with custom-post types. Although I checked the boxes in the nrelate-dashbord to exclude some of the categories, the thumbnails and links still show up. I tried it a couple of times, but with no success. Is there something I can do to fix this?
