Disabling Top Navigation Link

    I’m using the theme Nexus by Adaptive Themes version 1.0.3
    Site is at communityboostconsulting.org

    Hey guys for my site I am trying to disable the the top navigation and have only the drop down links work. I tried doing the custom link option for the page and only putting # as the link but it didn’t work. This was the solution I found on other blogs.

    Anyone have another solution? I’d like to not install a plugin but if you have one that you think is good I’m open to suggestions.
