    I was hoping this would answer my question but i notice it has not been answered – did u resolve this ?

    This is a widget. Not a plugin. The only location the widget can display is in the widget area. There are no short codes; However, adding new widget locations is a fairly trivial thing that can be learned by using the WordPress Codex.
