I activated WooCommerce 1.4.2 plugin and now my site is completely down. This is not good. I previously had activated Jigoshop but deactivated and removed it. I reinstalled WooCommerce plugin in case of a conflict. I’ve contacted the creator of the WP theme (Mayashop) and they say their code is fine–that it is WooCommerce plugin. So how do I regain control of my site?

I removed WooCommerce and MayaShop to cancel the error. Back to a basic wordpress site for now until I find a replacement that does not use WooCommerce because it seems like everyone’s support was seriously lacking today.

If you get an error with is_main_query your on an old version of WordPress.

    Thanks mikejolley for your comment.

Yes, I did have an older version of WordPress based on the info provided by the theme author. They said their theme was compatible to 3.3 but it turns out that was not correct.

It’s a shame because I was looking forward to using WooCommerce. I am sure there will be another time.

For this project, I had to switch to something else.
