• I wish to change theme for my site (I mention, in case it matters that it is hosted in Blue Host).
The WordPress instructions are of the best type I have seen on the net but regarding how to change theme, I am totally confused. I am not a very experienced PC user, so expalin simply. Both ways below did not work:
    1. When I go to themes (http://themes.wordpress.net/) I am said chose a theme, then chose upload, I am asked a username given a password via e-mail and then chaos, I do not know what to do with it.
    2. In a page there (http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Using_Themes) I follow indtructions but when I reach the “Select” point, I find a “Select” nowhere and chaos again. Please tell me, am I totally out of course?

Those instructions must be old, because there is no “Select” on the Presentation page.

Instead, when you’re logged into WordPress and you’re in the admin control panel area (where you write posts and you see the “Dashboard”), look for a link near the top of the page labeled “Presentation.” Click that, and on that page you’ll see “Available Themes” as rows of theme thumbnails (if a theme doesn’t have a thumbnail, it will be just a gray box). Click on one of the thumbnails to change to that theme. It’s as easy as that.

I followed the directions [above]. From my Admin webpage, I selected Presentations. However, when I went to the next page it showed “Cutline Options” only, rather than “Available Themes.”

    So, what’s up? THANKS!

    tiger,
always state the WP version you are using.

When you click Presentation it should open automatically the “Themes” submenu. Just scroll down and select the one you want by clicking on its title or snapshot.
