can't save custom permalink

    I recently switched my permalink bank to the default setting when I was adding a page to my site. Now that I am done the work I am trying to switch the permamlinks back to my old custom structure but when I click the “Save Changes” button on the “Permalinks Settings” dashboard, nothing happens. It just clicks back to the default setting.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
