   to start with, you really need some padding around your images (inside the posts)

   Thank you, hadn't actually noticed how 'cluttered' it looked without the padding. Certainly does improve it.

   The top title (above portrait in header) image should be 'cleaner'(less compression?).

   Consider widening the post-content area and slimming the sidebar down (looks like the sidebar has too much room)?

   Having the "No Comments Permalink" link below the ending <hr> is a wee bit clumsy/confusing for me. But I'm a dinosaur. Call me Barney. Scissor-running Barney.

   It's valid code! I bow in your general direction ;')
