[Plugin: Authors Widget] Problems with modern WordPress versions

It’s a real shame since similar widgets just don’t have as many options or RSS feeds for the authors.

I input the username of the author I want to exclude and the widget doesn’t show any authors at all. It shows the widget, but nothing bellow.
