Want to create an almost identical shopping cart on subdomain

    Hey there,

    I would like to be able to have my main site be for retail consumers and a subdomain be for wholesale customers. I’m using woocommerce. I want the sites to be exactly the same except for the items in the shop.

    Before I go crazy in doing this and have to ask boat loads of questions, is there a simple solution to do it?

    Not easily. Multisite is meant to have multiple, separate, sites. You can manually keep the designs/widgets in sync.

    So what would be the easiest way to do this? If I transfer the database to keep all of what I have and just change the site name in the config file will it work? ‘Cause I tried to do that but it just keeps redirecting me to the current (main) site’s dashboard when I login on the wholesale.mysite.com address.

    No, don’t transfer the DB.

    The easiest way is to make a site, design it how you want, and then duplicate it on your subsite, manually.
