Best "Member" plug-in?

I’m just looking for input on a good “member access” plug in. I want to create a portion of my site that is “members only” with a paid subscription online (but have the ability to charge $0 if I choose to for an individual.)

That’s pretty much it expect making sure it plays nicely with other plug-ins that might be in the member area (that is, if I have a plug-in for say “Polls”, that the polls are only accessed by the members). If the plug-in can also keep a running list of my members and their information (address, phone number ect…) in an accessible database, like say if I wanted to print it out to keep a hard copy too, that’d be a nice bonus!

I’ve done some searching and since there seem to be *many* member plug-in options, so I thought I’d ask to see if anyone has any favorites?
