    Hi there,

Fantastic FREE Post Scroller plugin! Many thanks! Everything works exactly as you say it should work but I recently noticed (by chance) that the formatting of the post is lost when it appears in the scroller. e.g.

One of my posts just has bullet points and a word in bold and when it appears in the Scroller it is one long sentence with no bullets or bold.

    Any ideas?

    Regards

    Hello,

That’s because it’s showing the excerpt and not the actual post. You’re most likely allowing WordPress to automatically generate that excerpt for you.

    Hi…
I have the same problem, is there any way around it, if i go “Hide post excerpts” I just get a blank area….
Is it possible to html style the text?
im using the widget in a sidebar in http://undercoverservice.justfine.dk/
    Thanx a bunch

Yes, but you just need to manually write out the excerpt with your HTML from the “Excerpt” meta box when editing a post, opposed to letting WordPress automatically take the beginning words from your post, stripping out any HTML.

If you do not see the Excerpt meta box when editing a post, it means you have it hidden. Go up the “Screen Options” tab at the top right corner of the screen and select for it to show.
