Hi! The lab I am working for is thinking about using WP instead of MT (use WP on personal blog and am faithful user), but the one complaint I have received against WP is the inability to run multiple blogs through the same interface. I thought I read something about that feature coming soon, but now can not find any info about it. Is this a possibility? Does it exist now? Is it coming?

It isn't, at least what I require.
In wordpress mu only one blog per user is allowed, but there could be unlimited users.
What I am looking for is the ability to set up multiple blogs in different directories from one admin interface only.
Any help with this, anyone?

Exactly, creativatorz! Maybe if enough of us say we want/need it, the powers that be will provide :-)
Heck, to add to this wishlist, it would be nice to have *remote* management, administer all your sites from your local desktop <grin> We don't want much, do we? :)
Seriously though, whether it's the ability to manage several different blogs on the same domain from the one admin, or to do the same across different domains, a solid solution to that effect would be good.
Still have to look into MU though.

spencer, there are many options there that I'd seen, but unless I missed something, not one addresses remote management. Or did I in fact miss something? (it's entirely possible that I did :) )
@vavroom, *as far as I know*, there isn't anything, that will do what you're looking for...but, I could be wrong though. =/ Maybe someone else can confirm this then..? =P
But yeah, that would be an awesome "feature/option" to have though. =)

No, I guess I will try the codex link. I know this has been the threshold that has kept people in my department from changing to WP from MT. I wonder if that is true for others as well :-)
I would love to see that feature also - I'd love to know if something comes out...
