Upgrading to 2.04 from vs 1.2 (!!)

The question is: Does anyone have a process for upgrading directly from 1.2 to 2.04? Would I have to upgrade in steps – first to 1.5, and then to 2.04?

(Ok, so I am really delinquent here – but I had it all set up and working and it was just so comfortable that I focused elsewhere…)

I am still running 1.2, and I believe that it has finally caught up with me – virus or just plain comment spam, but something has dragged my blog down.
