For some strange reason Akismet is not blocking all spam. I was just bombarded by 128 spam comments/trackbacks. I looked up in WP Admin folder - Akismet section and found that there were 14 comments it had blocked since yesterday, so it means for some reason those 128 comments managed to pass through Akismet today. Any suggestions to turn something on or something off in my WP? Right now I'm suffering from the after effects of this hellish spam nightmare...

Some new wrinkles on trackback spam going on it seems. Have you installed the Bad Behavior plugin yet? It works nicely with Akismet. http://www.homelandstupidity.us/software/bad-behavior/

Posted 3 years ago #Please help me. I get 75-100 unwanted spam messages a day in my guest book that I have to individually delete daily. Please help me with how to stop these messages. This is very frustrating......
