   I want to create pages which include Japanese characters. I don't know how to make them show as actual characters, not things like "??" or "�A" like I'm getting.

   I CAN type and view Japanese on Wordpress posts and when editing from there. I want to create veiwable pages outside WP.

   There must be a code in the WP template which makes that work, right? That's why I'm confused because all my pages use the same template as the posts.

   I want to know what I need to do to get it to work, encode the pages?

   maybe u have to change the encoding in your option?
