HTML editor change after update from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4

Since updating to 2.0.4 the post editor looks and behaves very different. I cannot acces the WYSIWYG editor anymore (yes, i know I can normally toggle between modes in the personal preferences but changing this setting changes absolutely nothing in the editor).
For example: I can enter html code directly but if i upload a picture for example I cannot resize it directly in the editor anymore. Now I have to enter height and width manually which is a pain in the ***.
I also already tried to make a new clean install of wp 2.0.4. I got the same result. Am I missing any setting here? I really don’t know what I have to do as the installation went fine and I looked at every setting already??
