    That’s true. This functionality was removed from version 1.3.0 and later because this made it a public post type and thus directly queryable from the website, throwing a 404 error. It was removed to prevent confusion. You can currently only add images from the slideshow admin page.

    Do you have situations where you’d say this feature would come in handy? In that case I will bring it back in version 2.0.0.

    Seems like it would be convenient to be able to use attach. The first time I tried the plugin, I had already uploaded the images thinking I would be able to include them in a slide show.

    I’ll know better after I use it more.

    Nice plugin, thanks.

    I had same issue, would be great to choose from already uploaded images, super convenient. A great help to people who found your plugin after uploading loads of images to their media library already.
