• I’m using the WP theme Origin, and while I’ve figured out how to delete the post byline when viewing the post page, I can’t figure out how to get rid of the bylines when you view a collection of posts in a category.

Here’s the page I’m talking about, if it helps: http://www.sklardevelopment.com/wordpress/?cat=3

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and support!

  • Edit your theme by Website_Root/wordpress/wp-content/themes/origin/

Search the lines containing the word “byline” in your theme’s “archive.php”, “search.php”, “index.php” files.. and it would be removed from your entire site.

You probably have to look in the category.php template for that. Otherwise I suggest you seek support in the dedicated support forum here: http://devpress.com/forums/

@premiumwp category.php not exist in “origin” theme. I checked the theme after download then suggest the above.

Thank you so much, Tarsem! I’d been having trouble since there isn’t a category.php but your solution totally worked.

    Thanks again!
