Recommend a multi-lingual wp e-commerce solution.

    I need to incorporate three possible languages into my site with e-commerce (WP e-Commerce) capabilities in each.

    What would be your best recommendation to accomplish this task? I’m just trying to plan this out as best I could before I start getting into the knitty and gritty.

    Here is short rundown of exactly what I need:

    – Three sites each with their own particular content…
    – … and each site in a particular language.
    – WordPress e-commerce running on each of them with a variety of product displays depending on the country
    – It would be great if I could work off-line (in Xampp for instance) before I upload anything.

    I’ve thought of skipping the whole multi-site idea since I cannot (for the life of me) figure out how to include a multilingual approach. Maybe doing three WP installs with two of them in sub-directories like en (english) and ger (german) or something would be better. At least I will be able to edit individual config files for specific languages.

    Any suggestions ideas will be very appreciated. Thanks for all your time!

    Okay, so I have rummaged through a number of sites to find some kind of solution but nothing. It seems I am stuck with either choosing only ONE language for a whole multi-site e-commerce installation or… I make two more subdirectory installs of wordpress and change the language as needed…

    Anyone any ideas. Thank you.
