Can't see Italics or Bold in my post

Can you provide a link to your site please? I’m guessing that your theme is overriding the bold and italic.

It looks like there’s no styling added back in after your reset in your CSS for <em> or <strong>. That’d do it.

I would add the following to the style.css:

strong, b
{
  font-weight: bold;
}

em, i
{
  font-style: italic;
}
