[Plugin: Shashin] Customizing Captions

I help a boy scout troop with their website and they are looking for a photo gallery. Yours is the closest to what they want but there are a couple of things they do not like about it.

1) can the caption on the album be customized to not include the date the album was created on Google+?

2) Is it possible to remove the link on the fancy box “View at Picasa”?

3) Is it possible to allow private albums to be displayed? Picasa Express uses google services and it allows private albums to be used.

4) How do you get the slide show to work? I have looked through the documentation and have been unable to get this to work.

Because the boys are under 18, they want the only access to these photos to be though the website but do not want to store them on their webserver as they pay for the disk space they use. As a non-profit group their money is not unlimited so anywhere they can save allows them to put more money into the program for the boys.
