Constantly have to relog in

When trying to customize my new word press site–simply the site name and tagline–I am constantly being redirected to log-in as in “Your session has expired. Please log-in again.” I enter the info and it pops up again in about 5 seconds. The info is saved. I can cancel the action and go to my site and info is updated, but the log-in screen keeps popping up. I am hosting with iPage. I have uninstalled, then reinstalled my site several times. I think the problem may be in the customize.php, but I don’t have any php skills. I would be glad to post the php if that would help. Thanks for any help.

Is your browser accepting cookies for the site?

yes. Tried in Firefox, IE and Chrome and does the same ting. I have cleared the cache. In Firefox I have added the site to “always” accept cookies to see if that would help. It only happens when I try to customize the site name and tagline–not when I save other stuff. More annoying than anything.

I have the same issue, i also have my hosting in Ipage, im trying to customize my site but everytime i click in “save & publish” the “Your session has expired. Please log-in again” message appears.

I hope someone can help me.

Same thing here, I have been trying to figure this out for 10 hours today, VERY frustrating.

Is there a known solution to this problem?

Yeah thanks, tried that and about 70 other things. I am DONE, no more WordPress for me, life is too short to deal with crap like this…pardon my frustration.

no–I have never figured this out. Info is saved, even though it asks you to relogin. I end up just canceling–but again, info is saved so I just move on. This happened after I installed a premium theme from Mint Themes but they were not any help and insist it is an iPage problem. Glad I am not the only one–even though it is frustrating. I kept thinking I had done something 🙂 I still think there is something in the customize php but again haven’t been able to figure it out.
