• A simple question really…
Is it possible to add the alignleft and alignright styles supplied with the default theme to images in a post without going into the code. I’d like to make it real easy to set these styles on images as the post is written as the user has no knowledge of html etc.

  • Well, if the visual editor lets users assign a class to an object, you can define styling for that class in your css. then the only thing the user has to do is to select the class for the image.

However, I abhor tinymce and don’t use it, so I’m not sure that’s possible with it, sorry.

Thats the problem. I dont think tinymce allows it. What else can I use to create posts online??

Sure, you can do it with tinymce.

Click “html” button. Add class. Click save.

Yes I can but my customer doesn’t really want to mess with html. Is there not an editor around that lets you click and apply a style etc?

AFAIK, XStandard allows it, but there isn’t, to my knowledge, an integration of it into WP, more’s the pity. 🙁
