Can’t Select Database

I’m not the only one encountering this error. There are thousands in a google search:

Can’t select database

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the [databse name] database.

My site: http://blog.digitaltavern.com/ gives me the same error.

I’ve checked with my host with no avail. But this is obviously a recurring issue as there are thousands of google searches you can see delivering the error.

Anyone figure out how to resolve this?
