If you are talking about the preview theme plugin – it works ONLY if you are logged in as admin.

I am logged in as Administrator and viewing the site and it doesn’t seem to be working (does it show up in the plugins panel… because I don’t even see it there either to activate it.)
Perhaps I installed it wrong? It goes in the plug-ins folder, right?
If you on’t see it in the PLugins section of your admin panel – then you definitely have it installed in the wrong location.

Hmmm…. I have preview_theme.php
placed inside /wp-content/plugins/
That’s right, isn’t it?
@motoed, did you resolve this??
I am having the same problem…any got the answer to this yet?
Theme Preview not showing up in my plugins – and I’ve installed millions of these things so it’s NOT in the wrong place.
Is Theme Preview compatible with WP2?
stml – You’re right – the Preview Theme plugin is broken with WP 2.1. I found an updated version that does work with 2.1:

Surprised Ryan Boren hasn’t updated his. But the other one does work.
I recently updated the plugin to add a Preview Theme sub-menu to the Presentation tab.

Hope that makes it easier.
