Unless you post a link to your site and more specific information, it’s pretty impossible for anyone to help. What does the top of your child theme stylesheet look like — i.e. the section at the top and the @ import line?
my site is: http://www.lean-n-mean.co.uk/
my header:
/*
Theme Name: Twenty Eleven Child
Theme URI: http://www.lean-n-mean.co.uk
Description: Child theme for the Twenty Eleven theme
Author: Paul Mar
Author URI: http://www.lean-n-mean.co.uk
Template: twentyeleven
Version: 0.1.0
*/
@import url(“http://www.lean-n-mean.co.uk/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=style.css&theme=twentyeleven”);
/* =Reset default browser CSS. Based on work by Eric Meyer: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/index.html
————————————————————– */
Try changing the @import line per the codex page on child themes, to:
@import url("../twentyeleven/style.css");
Right now, your site shows the twentyeleven site (not a child) — have you tried switching to the child theme?
And have you checked to make sure that the directory structure is correct?
im amd on twenty eleven now. im keeping child form in themes directory. As far as i am aware i need to change only header, corec me if im wrong?
When i change to child theme – all the colors becames black and pictures from header disapear. ill leave it in child theme if you have a minute to ckeck it out.
thanks
Your site is not loading at all… What do you mean you need to change only the header? Did you follow the codex page on creating the child theme?
