EMERGENCY- all theme formatting has disappeared!!

    Hi,

    I edited the index.php file in my site, and all the formatting of my site disappeared! So I uploaded the backup of the whole theme that I had made via FTP and it made no difference and the site is still a mess! I *think* it’s stopped reading the stylesheet, but *why*??
