  • I don’t understand how to connect the products in my store to the respective products in my Paypal merchant account. There’s no explanation of this anywhere. There is a field for “Product code” in the edit entry page, but it’s not clear what this is. I tried inputting the “Product ID” that you can optionally assign when creating a product button in Paypal, but this didn’t work. I tried inputting the “hosted_button_id” code that you get once you create a product button in Paypal, but this also did nothing.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Nevermind – it’s easier to just remove the paypal buttons from the templates altogether, and insert the button code provided by paypal in the product description.

All you need to do is paste the paypal button code into the store template at your-site/wp-admin/admin.php?page=catablog-templates

You can replace any form fields with CataBlog Tokens if you want.

But obviously that would only allow for a single button, and a single product. That doesn’t help. I’ll just use my method.

Actually the whole concept of tokens allow you to enter variable data into a template, allowing each rendering to be unique. Their is a list of available of token at Making Custom Templates.
