Does your theme use widgets in the footer section? Those look like widgets to me. See if you can edit them via the appearance -> widgets menu from the dashboard.
But I can’t seem to find where. I thought i could change it at Appearance->Editor->Footer.php but no.
You should never edit core files. See setting up a child theme:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
This allows you to preserve changes during theme (and wordpress) updates.
Hello Josh,
Yes, I use Widgets in the footer section. I already checked the settings of the Widgets, but I can’t change any text via the Widgets menu.
Any other solutions?
Are you 100% certain you checked all your widgets options? Some themes have multiple widget sections so you might want to look on the right hand side when in the Widgets page and see if there is a section named footer or similar.
Looking at the source code it appears to be a text widget that is displaying the text you are referring to so it should be able to be changed.
I found it!
Thanks Josh and JarretC
