[Plugin: WordPress Download Manager] Download manager and Jetpack Lite

When updating Download Manager to version 2.2.5 I get about ten lines of error code in my admin screen as well as on my website, all that has to do with Jetpack lite. It looks as if the new version of Download manager jams something in Jetpack lite.
Can this be rectified?
