problem with one custom smilie

    For several versions of WP, I have customized the smilies in “wp-includes/functions.php”, switching to little animated images that I created. Recently, I added an extra one:

    ':^)' => 'MyCustomSmileImage.gif',

    This was working. Today (and possibly earlier than today), :^) no longer automatically displays the smile image. All other smilies are working.

    Any ideas about why this is happening?
