• I have a photo gallery created using another program on my website and my blog is focused on sharing pictures from that gallery and linking back to it. Unfortunately, WordPress does not seem to have a way to “browse” sub-directories and so I am required either to duplicate the file by re-uploading it, or I have to surf to each individual one and get the url, paste, adjust settings, repeat.

I want to be able to browse into my subfolders on my domain within the WordPress Edit Post Upload/Insert dialog to find the images and select them.

Put simply I’m looking for what this Gallery3 plugin does, but with jAlbum or being able to browse other folders within my domain:
    http://gallery.menalto.com/node/99396
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gallery3-picker/screenshots/

Does anyone have any idea if something like this exists that works for jAlbum or just in general lets you browse your own domain for images?

I’ve been searching for hours and can’t seem to find anything.
This seemed promising, until I realize it is all code based, which doesn’t help me.
This is halfway there, but still requires importing to WordPress.
